Show SUPPOSED RABID DOGS KILL EIGHT HEIFERS OGDEK, Oct. 21. Three doss, believed to have been suffering from rabies, have bitten twenty-one head of cattle during the past two days in the Roy district, according to information received here tonight. It is stated that eight head of vear-ling vear-ling heifers were killed and the remainder of the cattle are under observation. Two of tho dogs were killed and the heads sent to the state bacteriologist for examination. ex-amination. The dogs ran after the cattle, and, jumping up, grabbed them by the ears and throat. The ears of some of the cattle cat-tle were chewed off. The cattle attacked at-tacked belonged to L. B. Bybee, James Veston, Carl Decker and Elza Beus. The dogs were the property of a Japanese farmer of the Roy district. |
