Show HOPPE WINS EASY SET FROM YAMADA NEW YORK, Oct. 21. Willie Hoppe, national balk-line billiard champion, defeated de-feated Koji Tamada, the Japanese expert, ex-pert, in tonight's game of the national championship tournament, by a score of 400 to 129. Yamada did not piay with his usual dexterity, while Hoppe gave a brilliant exhibition of cue work, and ran out his quota of 400 in the eighth inning with an average of fifty. His three highest runs were 133, 110 and 72. This is the best average made so far in the tournament. Yamada's average was Ifi and his best runs were 4?, 26 and 21.
