Show GEORGE CHANDLER IS DEAD IN PARIS Word has been received here of the death in Paris from -pneumonia of First Lieutenant George Chandler of Salt Lake. Lieutenant Chandler went overseas as a private in the Sixth field artillery, and got his early training fn Alsace. Ho was transferred to the First division and participated in the American "curtain-raiser" "curtain-raiser" at Cantigny in liaison work. He received his commission at the training school at Saumur, and was assigned to the Fourth balloon company. Lieutenant (..'handler is survived by his wife, Umma Rublnson Chandler, who has been serving as a Red Cross nurse at military hospital Xo. 1 . at Xeuilly, France; by his father, George E. Chandler, Chan-dler, of Bingham; by his fiistrrs. lira. J. W. Rooklidge of Salt Lake and Mrs. 'Ida M. Wflis of California, and by his brother, Lin gene Chandler, of Bins ham. |
