Show WOMAN DROWNS IN BLACKSMITH RIVER Special to The Tribune. LOGAN. March 24. Sunday afternoon the, bodv of Jlrs. Joseph Almond of this city' waa found in the Blacksmith Fork river, just below MillvUle, about three miles south of Loean. Mrs. Almond, with her husband, had gone to Mlllvllle to visit her parents. After she had been Kone from ihe house a short time, a sewch was made and two hours later her .body was found as stated. Through sickness and other causes, Mrs. Almond's mind had been left in a woakened condition. Whether she accidentally acci-dentally fell, or jumped, in the river is not known. She leaves a husband and two small children. 3, G. Porter and his 12-year-old son, Jmes. died this morning at the family residence of pneumonia. Mr. Porter is survived bv a widow and four children. Sidney Priday of this city, but who was workincr at Preston, Idaho, died yesterday yes-terday from an attack of pneumonia following fol-lowing influenza. He was the son of Thornae Priday. He was, L'8 years of age. He leaves a widow and small child. Funeral services for J. It. Morton, held on Sunday, were well attended. The Masonic orddr had chartrc of all arrangements arrange-ments and conducted the services under 1 he; direction of the -Rev. E. T. Lewis. T'eodent was a past master of the local. Masonic lodee. He was the local agent tor tho Oregon Short Line Railway company com-pany and had served in that capacity for twenty years. -. |
