Proposals for the erection and completion comple-tion of a physical education building, to be erected for the state of Idaho, according accord-ing to plans and specifications, drawings and details prepared for the same (bv J. B. Boyer, architect, Pocatello) will be received by J. H. Keefer, care of Miles F. Reed, Pocatello, Idaho, until 10 o'clock a. m., Monday, June 17, 1918, when they will be opened and publicly read in the office of the Technical Institute, Pocatello. Poca-tello. Bids may be mailed, sealed, plainly marked "Proposal for Physical Education Building," but must reach office of Idaho Technical Institute at the time set for opening bids, and bids must be made out on proposal blanks furnished by the architect. archi-tect. Bids will be received for the building complete, but heating, plumbing and drainage must be separate estimate. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check in the sum of five per cent nf the bids, made payable to the state board of education, to guarantee that any one of the three loweat bidders will enter into a contract with the owner (if awarded) to erect the above-mentioned building, with or without the healing, plumbing and drainage. Checks of the high bidders will be returned when bids have been duly considered. Checks of the three lowest bidders will he retained until contract is signed and a satisfactory bond has been executed. Contractors to whom awards are made will be required to furnish within six days (of notice of award of contract) an approved surety company bond, in amount equal to thirty per cent of the contract price, in accordance with the specifications. specifica-tions.
