Show TREMONTON BECOMES CITY OF THIRD CLASS Hustling Little Boxelder County Town Votes to Take Big Step Forward. Special to The Tribune. BRIGH AM CITY, May 22. The town of Tremonton has become a citv of the third class, according to the results of an election held there recently to determine deter-mine whether or not the bustling burg should remain a town or become a city and be managed as cities are. The results re-sults of the election showed that all but five of the townsmen who were qualified to vote were in favor of the move forward, for-ward, there being sixty affirmative and five negative votes cast in the special election. Tremonton has long been out of the "town" class, and holds the record in northern Utah as a shipping point for farm products and livestock, and also is a business center of no mean importance to the western and central parts of Box-elder Box-elder county. Many civic improvements are contemplated in the city and, with a more staple form of government back of the various enterprises undertaken, the improvements will go forward with all speed. Tho officials elected to occupy the offices of-fices from the present time until the next general city election in 1919 are as follows: fol-lows: Mayor, Charles McClure, cashier of the State Bank of Tremonton; council-men. council-men.
