Show ONE-MAN SYSTEM TAKEN UP BY CLUBS Single Operation Plan Is Opposed at Meeting Held at the Kenyon Hotel. A joint committee, representing the Kotary c!ubf the Commercial club and the Utah Manufacturers' association, held two meetings yesterday, at which they discussed one-man operation of street cars with officials of the Utah Light & Traction company and union street car men. Another session of the committee is to be held at 11 o'clock this morn ins:, at which it is expected a report will be adopted which will bo submitted to the Rotary club, which appointed the original orig-inal committee, at its luncheon today. After the meeting last night members of the commit lee announced that there was nothing to be given out until after the session this morning. The night session ses-sion was held with employees of the ca r com pan y , wh o submitted their side of the one-man operation matter and , their objections to it. At the same time the night session of ! Hi is committee was being held, there ! was a meeting of citizens at the Kenyon j hotel to protest against any 6-cent fares and against installation of tho one-man opera t ion system. J" W. Mc Kinney was chairman of the eting. and C. T. Stoney was secary. A committee composed of t. V. .Stoncy, M rs. Acnes WiiiicM, Alfred 'Voreuseii, C. S; Spiegel and W. J.
