Show CAR BARN WORKERS RETURN TO DUTIES Resume Employment pending Negotiations Negotia-tions for Settlement of Their Difficulties. The car barn employees of the Utah Lipht & Traction company, who walked out Saturday afternoon because of a reorganization re-organization of the working forces at the barn, went back to work yesterday pending pend-ing negotiations which it is expected will lead to an amicable settlement of the difficulty. A conferenco between representatives of the men and the company was held at the offices of the company yesterday morning. At this conference it developed that there was not so much objection to the reorganization plan as there was a question as to who should be appointed general foreman of the barn forces. James Scobe was named by the superintendent as general foreman, and the men are insisting in-sisting that Jack Keener be named to that position. Further negotiations on the matter mat-ter are to be had between the men and the company officials. |
