Show u 1 . PIONEER MINING MAN OF UTAH DIES IN TEXAS t- j JOHN W. MOKEHOUS. JOHN W. MORBHOUS, a pioneer of Utah, died at the residence of his son, John W., Jr., in El Peso, Texas. He was S3 years of age. Mr. Morehous had been a resident of Utah for the last fifty years. He was a mining man, being one of the first to become interested In the mines of the Fish Spring district. Mr. Morehous More-hous built the railroad up Three-mile canyon. He also was interested in mining min-ing in Mexico. He is survived by the following fol-lowing children: Frank C. of Parrall, Mexico; George W. of Callao, Utah; John W Jr , of El Paso, Texas; Mrs. Robert Farrar of Caldwell, Idaho; Mrs. Fred C. Smith of Boston; Mrs. Alfred Eddy of Milwaukee, Mis., and Miss Nell Morehous More-hous of Salt Lake. The funeral will take tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock from the S. M. Taylor chapel. Interment in City cemetery. |
