Show MEW d SCHEDULE GOES INTO EFFECT i Line-up at 12:30 o'CIock ; Changes Made in Several Sev-eral Routings. Hie new street car schedule, one of the main features of which is elimination of the old 1:05 lineup, went into effect yes-i yes-i terday. ! As a result the last cars outbound from the city left Main street this morning at : r:C0 o'clock and hereaiter the lineup will leave Main street at this hour. This means that people, will have to get home earlier at night If they expect to get there on tho last ear and it behooves the night owls to remember that now the last car leaves at li':3'. instead of 1:05, as has been the custom. The change also makes alterations in the routings: of a number of ear lines to increase and improve the service during dur-ing the rush iiours of the morning and evening. To accomplish this the Utah Light & Traction company found it necessary neces-sary to change the hour of sending out tiie last cars at uu-ht. The advanced hour was observed by practically all the people down town at midnight, though at 1 o'clock this morning morn-ing a few disconsolate suburbanites still linHi ed at 31a in and Second South streets in the forlorn hope that their car might come bv. Several unexpected fares w ere made by the taxicabs, and long hikes were forced on one group of seven young men who hud forgotten the change in schedule.
