Show TWO GET JOBS FROM i COUNTY OFFICIALS; Klmer lavage was- appointed yesterday ! morning by the board of county commissioners commis-sioners as assistant superintendent of the Uintah Training school to nil the vacancy va-cancy occasioned by the dea th of Frederick Fred-erick Barrows. W. II. Stiffler was appointed as nF.ist-ant nF.ist-ant county surveyor at a salary of 150 a month, on the recommendation of Iv. K. L. Collier, county surveyor. Mr. Collier requested of the board to know If it had not misunderstood conditions con-ditions when It granted a raise of 10 to George K. Taylor of the surveyor's of nee and limited other raises in the office to 5. He was informed that the board acted advisedly and was disposed to stand by its action of last week, when a gen- oral revision upward of the smaller salaries sal-aries was effected. |
