He is still one shy in that end of the lot aud is waiting anxiously anx-iously for Distell, who Is coming from the Richmond club of the International lea-'ue. Distell is said to be quite an aciiuisitlon from a hittinpr standpoint. The only trouble is that Disteil does not want to po so far from home, but Graham is expected to argue him into coming west. The other two members othe outfield are Hummell and Goldie. who have both proved to be good men. The weather was perfect today, with blue skies and so.ft breezes, just like summer. It made the hoys feel lazy, but the boss soon took that streak out of them when tbev were taken out to the grounds this morning for heavy batting practice and again in the afternoon for :ield work. The whole bunch. from captain to rookie, were guests of the Fresno Commercial Com-mercial club at a luncheon during the noon hour. The hankers were held to regular training diet, which they all said agreed with them. Saturday and Sunday the Seals will play Swede Risber's bunch of government men.
