CHAPTER TO DISCUSS CITY STOCK MEASURE Local Mining Congress Oil Branch Also Will Take Up Pending General Leasing Bill. The proposed regulation of stock sales bv the city of Salt Lake will be-?ken up for discussion this afternoon at the regular meeting of the oil section of the Utah chapter of the American Mining congress. The meeting is scheduled for 3 o'clock and is to be held at the mining min-ing chapter headquarters on the third floor of the Boston building. Another important subject which is to be considered is the general leasing bill pending in congress. In this connection special attention will be given to the parts of the bill which indicate that oil shale and saturated oil sand lands may be included within its provisions. Communications Com-munications from Utah congressmen and others bearing on the subject will be presented pre-sented at the meeting.
