Bushneil Refutes. CAMBRIDGE, Mass., Dec. 6. Albert Bushneil Hart, professor of the science of government at Harvard university, whose name was mentioned as having been on a list of pro-Germans found in the diary of Dr. Fuehr, German agent, announced tonight he had telegraphed the senate commitee investigating German propaganda asking that he be permitted to refute in person an intimation or pro-Germanism pro-Germanism on his part. "For two years I have been continuously continu-ously active in the National Security league as member of the executive committee com-mittee and for a long time chairman of the committee on patriotism through education," ed-ucation," Professor Hart said in a statement state-ment tonight. "I am a son of an officer in the civil war and a member by inheritance of the Loyal Legion. My two sons are in the regular army and they will never have occasion to blush for their father."
