Show KNIGHTS LAY PLANS FOR COLUMBUS DAY i Set of Officers Elected and Appointed ' as Committee to Arrange for Big Observance. Officers were elected and plans for the ' observance of Columbus day. October 12, j were laid at the meeting held yesterday afternoon by mombers of the fourt degree. de-gree. Knights of Columbus. ' The officers chosen are: Faithful navigator, A. J. Gillis; faithful captain, Hugh Ryan; faithful admiral, P. J. Owens; faithful comptroller, J. Leo Meehan; faithful faith-ful inner sentinel, M. J. McGUI; faithful outer sentinel, J. H. McKay; faithful friar, Rev. J. M. Sullivan; faithrul pilot, M. A. Burke. The officers were named as a committee commit-tee to take up at the regular meeting of the kniehts Tuesday night plans for the Columbus day observance. The fourth degree knights are laying plans for an active season of work this winter and preliminary plans for projects of considerable consid-erable importance to the order were discussed dis-cussed at the meeting yesterday and taken under advisement. |
