Show WEBER FRUIT NOT INJURED BY FROST Special to The Tribune. OGDEN. Sept. 15. During the past few days the principal fruit-growing sections of Weber county passed through the first chilly nights of the fall season without damage" to the fruit. The fear of an early frost Is felt more keenly by the fruit growers than in several years past, for the reason that hundreds of bushels of peaches as yet unpicked have been contracted con-tracted at prices considerably In advance of those paid in recent years. Present weather conditions are said to Indicate many days of Ideal fruit harvest weather. |
