Show J FARMINGTON t f FABMIXGTOX, Feh. 24. The big affair af-fair of tho week was the luncheon given Thursday afternoon in honor of the Verou club bv Mrs. James J. Steed. She was assisted bv Mrs. Josephine and Alice Ilowells of Salt Lake and Miss Betty Steed. The decorations carried out the holiday scheme of color. The dining room vvas in red and white, a mound of flaps forming the centerpiece. center-piece. The livinp; room was in dalfo-dils. dalfo-dils. Out-of-town guests were Mrs. Thomas Howells of Salt Lake, Mrs. Jessie Jes-sie Flint of Kavsville, Mrs. Joel R. I'arrish of Cent'erville, Mrs. Jennie Stewart of Bountiful and Mrs. Luther Foss of Ogden. Others present were Mrs. Squire B. Chipuian. Mrs. Hyrum Stew-art, Mrs. J. R. Chaffin, Mrs. Eugene Eu-gene Clark, Mrs. Marion Hess, Mrs. Quincv Knowlton, Mrs. J. H. E-obinson, Mrs. T). L. Rice, Mrs. Robert Miller, Mrs. Horace Vanfleet and Mrs. Nellie Gardener. Mr. and Mrs. D. L. Rice entertained Tuesday evening at a theater party, followed bv a supper at their home. Those present, were Mr. and Mrs. A. u. Clark, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Robinson Mr. and Mrs. O. R. Chaffin, Mr. and Mrs. Horace Vanfleet Mr and Mrs. Squire R. Chipmnn, Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Hy-rum Stewart, Sir. and Mrs. ephi Palmer, Pal-mer, Mr. and Mrs. John R. Walsh, Miss Kdith Walsh, Mrs. Nellie liardiner Mr. and Mis. Kusene Clark. Mr. and Mrs. Cleorgo G. Knowlton and Mr. and Mrs. James J. Steed. Mrs L. E. Abbott of Salt Lako spent a few davs during the week in Farm-infiton Farm-infiton as'tfuests of Mrs. Sarah Hess. Miss Alta Robinson spent a few days during the week in Centervillc as guest of Mrs. Reginald Barber. Miss Beatrice Brown spent the first part of the week in Farmington as jjuest of Mrs. Frank Udy. Miss Alice Howells of Salt Lake spent the week in Farniington -with her sister, Mrs. James J. Steed. Miss Modena Chaffin spent Thursday and Friday in Salt Lake visiting with friends. |
