Show IS CHAMPION HUNTER FOR WEBER COUNTY Special to The Tribune. OGDEX, Feb. 24. R. W. Swingle is accorded the distinction of being the champion hunter in Weber county, according ac-cording to a report on bounties that has been compiled in the office of the county clerk for the year 1915. During i the twelve-month period Mr. Swingle has collected bounty on two bears, for- ' ty-eight coyotes and two wildcats, i Frederick Schmaltz of Uinta holds sec- j ond place in the list of mighty hunters with nineteen coyotes and one wildcat. ; .lerrv Ellis of Willard holds the record J for ears with a total of five. The ; total kill for the year was 230 covotes, ten bears, six wildcats, three ' grav ! wolves and one lynx. The total boutitv i paid was $o51.50. |
