The Utah senate has passed unani-niou unani-niou !y a bill appropriating $100,000 for the fete which will bo hM in Ogdeu in 1019 to celebrate the linking of the Union and Southern Pacific railways at Promontory, an historic event of tho first importance. Tho enterprising citizens citi-zens of Ogden have displayed much in-terot in-terot in this celebration, which will call the attention of the country most vividly to the present and papt development devel-opment of the mighty west. The celebration will be held under the direction of a commission to be appointed appoint-ed hy tho governor.
