This vein Is on the contact of the felsite, which forms the cast side of Nenzel hill, and rhyolite. In which tlte veins of the liocliester Mines and Rochester Merger occur. The crosscut was driven to cut the contact vein and the vein system of Rochester Mines farther to the west, which Is believed to pass through the t'rown Point No. 2 claim of Nenzel Crown Point. The east and west veins of tbe Rochester Roches-ter Mines approach each other in the northerly end of that company's Crown Point No. 1 claim, and are believed to form a junction near the north end line of the claim. Pome students of the hill express the belief that the two veins are faulted to the west at a point north of the junction, appearing In Rochester Merger Mer-ger ground as No. 4 vein, which is the main vein in the north end of Merger territory. |
