Folsom's Home. j Eighty-four children formed a pretty scene on the lawn at the home of Hyrum I P. Folsom, pioneer building contractor of j this cit y, 5.;i South Third East street, j on the occasion of his seventy-fifth birth- day anniversary. Mr. Folsom was born j on September 1. 1 S il. and on Friday ; evening his relatives and friends thronged ; the family home to do him honor. I Undei a string of colored electric lights! stretched across tiie lawn the children danced and sang and played games, led by Mrs. Ella Mays. Several nieces of Mr. Folsom entertained the grandchildren with songs and recitations and George B. Maigetts amused them with his inimitable inimita-ble recitations. Ail of the grandchildren brought flowers flow-ers and many presents, and altogether they had an enjoyable evening. j |
