Show STATE LAND BOARD ' ACCEPTS INTEREST Special to The Tribune. POCATELTjO, Idaho, July 28. The muclvdiscussed $14.nnri loan made to State Auditor Huston by the state land board was again brought Into the limelight! lime-light! by the tender to the state treasurer, j and his acceptance, of the interest due i to July l. This loan was made on lands near Idaho Falls and it is contended that the security 1 is wholly inadequate. As a result, the I state land hoard recently instructed the 1 attorney general to bring suit under the I mortgages and to proceed against those I who are on Huston's bond, but no action has as yet been taken. There is considerable speculation as to just what significance the acceptance by the board of the interest due on this loan may have. |
