Show NORFOLK, Va., July 28. Lieutenant Commander Louis Shane of the United states collier Neptune said today he had forwarded an official report to Washington corroborating the statements state-ments of officers of the United States battleship Louisiana that an unidentified unidenti-fied warship was within the Virginia capes last Tuesday morning and further fur-ther declaring that he saw it moving outward to sea. The report of Commander Com-mander Shane contains the first official offi-cial -declaration that a warship was seen leaving thu capes. "I am confident that I saw the same vessel that the Louisiana reported " said Commander Shane, "ami while I cannot say that it was a British cruiser I do know that it was a warship.'5 Today passed without incident for tne ?ieutrahty patrol outside the three-mile three-mile hunt.
