Show CHANGED MASTER AT FOREST HILL HOME By International News Service. CLEVELAND, Ohio, Aug. 9. There's a changed master at Forest Hill, the big East Cleveland estate of the world's richest rich-est man. That's what John D. Rockefeller's closest clos-est friends were saying today after visits to Forest Hill, to' which Rockefeller returned re-turned recently. The old attendants at Forest Hill know why their master has changed. It is le-cause le-cause their mistress has gone, they say. Mrs. Rockefeller died in February. Almost every morning Rockefeller walks slowly down to the Illy pond at ! the foot of" the long north slope. He ! stands for a moment" gazing at the quiet I water and then turns sadly away. I In 'past years Rockefeller and his wife ! used to stroll to the pond every morning ! after breakfast. The attendants tell, too, how their master mas-ter broke down and cried at his first breakfast at Forest Hill after his return, because of the vacant chair. |
