Show ROSS B. CARTEE IS ! BEIifl OF INJURIES Skull Fractured in Auto Accident Ac-cident Friday Night; Body Sent to Boise. Ross B. Cartee. aged 22 years, who received re-ceived a fractured skull Friday night in an automobile accident on Tenth North street, died of his Injuries yesterday morning at St. Mark's hospital. Mr. Car-tee Car-tee was in an auto owned and driven by A. L. Sparling of Baker City. Ore., who also suffered serious, but not fatal, injuries. in-juries. Mr. Cartee, who resided at 27 G street, was temporarily eneaged in the work of a draftsman. He was the sou of Ross and I-eona Cartee and was born in Helena. Mont.. February 11. 1803. For the past three years he had been attending at-tending the University of Idaho at Moscow. Mos-cow. During the last year he held the position of assistant professor of zoology and was to have continued in that capacity ca-pacity this year, his rapid advancement being due to the excellence of his work in his chosen field. At the time of his death Mr. Cartee was president of the Delta Theta fraternity frater-nity of the University of Idaho and was highly esteemed and respected by his fraternity fra-ternity brothers, the faculty and students generally of the university, to whom the news of his death will be a great shock, yet with the consolation that the world is better for his brief career. Undertaker S. D. Evans took charge of the body of Mr. Cartee. which will be sent to Boise, his former home, where funeral services will be conducted Wednesday Wed-nesday evening. |
