Cashin, superintendent of the San Francisco municipal railways, and the members of the board of public works must stand trial for alleged contempt of court in refusing to obey an injunction isaued recently by Superior Judge George A. bturtevant, restraining the operation of certain municipal car lines last month. Judge George E. Crothers of the superior court denied today a motion to quash tho contempt proceedings proceed-ings mado by attorneys for the defendants. de-fendants. The contempt trial will begin Monday Mon-day with attorneys for the United Railroads, Rail-roads, which obtained the injunction, prosecuting the contempt proceedings.
