Show WELLS-FARGO GETS ALL Express Business of Ogden, Logan & Idaho Railway Is Transferred. Special to The Tribune. OGDEX, Aug. 12. Following the recent decision of the company's directors to turn its entire express business on all lines over to the Wells-Fargo Express company, notices have been issued by the Ogden, Logan & Idaho Railway company cancelling all rates covering transportation transporta-tion of express and also cancelling itB joint express arrangement with the Salt Lake & Ogden Railway company. The change is made effective August 16. According to the notice, this action Is made necessary owing to the contract with the Wells-Fargo company, which gives it jurisdiction over all lines of the electric system. The change will mean that express hereafter consigned to Salt Lake from points north of Ogden over the O.. L. & I. lines will be transferred at this point to one of the steam roals. Xo announcement has yet been made by the Bamberger company respecting its express ex-press business when the joint arrangement arrange-ment with tTie Eccles system has been discontinued. P. D. Kline, general manager for the O., L. & I. Railway company, announced today that, effective August 16, W. B. Mowbray would become traffic manager for the local company, with headquarters in this city. |
