Thomas; 70 Years of Age, Succumbs to Heart Failure. j Richard Kendall Thomas, 70 years of age, for many years a merchant of this city, died suddenly of heart failure at his home, 137 JsTorth West Temple street, Monday night. Mr. Thomas was a native of Cornwall and a resident of Utah since 1S63. He was married to Carrie &'tock-daio &'tock-daio February i'S, 1S65, and soon afterward after-ward moved to Richmond, IHah. There he conducted a store for B. II. Young. The business which was conducted under his name In this city he established in l&Sii. Iu addition to his widow, Mr. Thomas is survived by four sons and four daughters. daugh-ters. They are Arthur F.. Elbert D.. Henry F. and R. Kendall Thomas of this city; Miss Kate Thomas, Miss Ethel Thomas' and Mrs. Blanche K. McKaey of this city, and Mrs. Rose T. Graham of Tjong Beach, Cal. There are. 'in addition, addi-tion, eleven grandchildren and one greatgrandchild. great-grandchild. Funeral arrangements have not yet been made and will be announced later. |
