Mrs. Vaughn's talk yesterday afternoon after-noon on ' ; Economy ' J was greatly appreciated, ap-preciated, both by the younger as well as the older members of her class. It was an intensely practical talk, dealing deal-ing with vital issues. Mrs. Vaughn showed clearly and by a striking illustration illus-tration that it is not what a woman has to spend, but how she spends it, that makes for the happiness and comfort com-fort of the family. She believes in good food at all times, though she says this is not necessarily expensive food. Subject for Todaj This afternoon she will tell what food docs for the body, give its classifications classifica-tions and deal with it in an entertaining entertain-ing and helpful manner. This interesting inter-esting subject will lie continued in her talk tomorrow on "Digestion and Well-balanced Well-balanced Menus." The Tribune Home Economics school closes on Friday, and no woman of the city can afford to miss the remaining sessions.
