Show ON LOMK More Brokers and Spectators Specta-tors Attend Than Have Been Present in Months. Trading on the local exchange yesterday yester-day was heavier than it has been for months pastJ Stocks advanced and there was a greater breadth shown in the choice. The Alta-Big Cottonwood issues, however, continued to hold the interest of the Investing public. Tho feature on the market after the call was the sole by auction of 3S0 shares of Cardiff, which went under the hammer to R. J, Evans, president of the exchange, at $1.07J, the highest price reached up to date In that slock. Broker H. U. Cole acted as auctioneer. auc-tioneer. Prince Consolidated was very strong, advancing from 42 cents to 49 cents and ciosmg with sales at 48 cents. Cedar-Talisman Cedar-Talisman also rose rapidly, selling as high as 6 cents and closing at 5i cents. Among the Alta-Big Cottonwood issues, Columbus Extension was strong at 40 cents, Alta Consolidated at lf-J cents. Rexall fluctuated between 13 cents and i:'i cents, closing at the latter price, while among the unlisted stocks Emma Copper , sold as high as 15 cents, Wasatch Mines at 21 cents and Tar Baby at 7 cenie. There were more spectators present during the forenoon session and more brokers than have been seen on the exchange ex-change for some time. On the curb the trading I among the unlisted stocks was confined to ?000 shares of Emma Copper at 5 cants and 13 cents, 1000 shares of Wa -satch Mines at 21 cents and 2i00 shares of Tar Baby at 7 cents.
