Show SPECIFICATIONS ON SUPPLY LINE FILED Sylvester Q. Cannon, city engineer, yesterday submitted to the city commission com-mission plans and specifications for the $100,000 supply lino on Thirteenth bouth street. They were referred to the committee of the whole for consideration con-sideration and the city engineer was directed to draw p a' resolution preliminary pre-liminary to the sale of a portion of tho $900,000 water and sewer bond issue recently authorized. Money from tho sale of the bonds will be on hand within with-in the next sixtv days, iu time to permit per-mit immediate beginning of the water enlargement, programme. Mrs. J. T. Belcss. president of the Associated City clubs, presented a petition pe-tition asking for the immediate appointment ap-pointment ol a emokn inspector and the passage of an ordinance requiring firemen 'and engineers in charge of heating plants to pass examinations before be-fore receiving licenses. On recommendation of Mayor Samuel Sam-uel C. Park the removal of B. F Sieg-fup Sieg-fup as a sergeant in the police department depart-ment was approved. |
