Show ARGENTINE PRESS IS NOW FRIENDLY BUENOS AIRES, April 30. The newspapers news-papers of Buenos Aires continue to comment com-ment on what they describe as "evident desire of Washington to show a spirit of fairness in Its relations with the. republics of South and Central America." Referring to the convening of the Colombian Co-lombian congress to consider tho new treaty with the United States for a settlement set-tlement of the Panama dispute, Lra No-clon No-clon says; "This treaty will result In re-establishing on a lasting basis the friendly relations re-lations of the two countries. All South America will rejoice at the conclusion of an amicable and equitable solution of the Panama difficulty "The proceedings at Bogota, together with President Wilson's acceptance of mediation In the Mexican difficulty by Argentina, Brazil and Chile, are convincing convinc-ing proofs of the the spirit of conciliation and fairness which the Washington government gov-ernment evidently Is doslrlous of showing in its relations with neighboring " republics." repub-lics."
