Show WEARIES OF LIFE; SILK P0IS0I J. P. Welsh Finds Death Several Hours Before His Body Is Discovered. "Just tired of life tliat is all." was the poignant, lirst sentence of a letter left by J. '. Welsh, 57 years of age, w"ho committed suicide In a room at tho Shel-ton Shel-ton liotel. 121 South West Temple street, shortly after -I o'clock yesterday afternoon, after-noon, by drinking a solution of potassium potas-sium cyanide. Welsh, . who was a machinist by profession, and who Jived at the Wubnsh rooming house, appeared at the Sliellon hotel at 1 o'clock yesterday and secured a room. Nothing more was seen of him until about 10:30 o'clock last night, when A. N. Jlolduway. one of the pioprletors of the hotel, looking aeross Uio air shaft into the room, noticed the ir.an lilnn as if dead upon the bed. lie immediately notified the police and Coroner II. S. JIarper. Dr. .Hardy Lynch was summoned and found that the man had been dead several hours. The body was removed to the under-talcing under-talcing rooms of 12. "W, Hall.
