At the- same lime, a raise was commenced from thc Mascotto tunnel tun-nel level and work has also been carried car-ried on there during this perlodr At this time something less than 400 icjal of ground remains to bo broken to make thc connection. When thla Is completed thc Yosemite will have one of tha deepest deep-est shafts ln Elngham, making It possible to quickly and systematically develop this extensive area of virgin ground, affording afford-ing an outlet at tho tamo time through thc Mascotto tunnel for tho ore and waste, aa well a.s unwaterlng tho mine to the ?Ia5cotte tunnel level. The Eaglo & Blue Bell mine, which Is located in the Tlntlo district, and also controlled by tho Bingham Mines company, com-pany, has experienced one of thc most profitable nnu satisfactory years of its existence. Tho main working shaft was sunk 430 feet the past year, bottoming bot-toming at the 1350 level, the balanco of the work consisting of many hundreds of foot of drifts, crosscuts, winzes and raises. On tho 1350 level the ore is found to be persisting In depth. From this lcvol a ralso was sent up to the 1300 level, where an Immcnso tonnage Is developed, and the ore Is now being dropped through tho raise. eliminating the hoisting through a series of winzes to thc 3000-foot 3000-foot level. During thc year the Eagle & Blue Bell has developed ore all tho way from the 700 level right down to the 13f0 level, and still has a large area of undeveloped territory ter-ritory on the dip and strike of tho orc-bearfng orc-bearfng zone to bo explored. It now ranks among Tlntic's foremost producers and has a most promising future. fu-ture. "When thc year 1913 opens It will -be on brighter prospects than tho Bingham Mines company has ever witnessed ln tho past. Tho various Bingham properties prop-erties will bo in a position for much heavier shipments, thc Eaglo & Bluo Bell property at Tintlc will be ablo to Increase In-crease shipments and at the samo time open up thc hugo oro bodies that exist In thc territory owned by tho company.
