Show SAYS WYOMING SHEEP ARE jC GOOD SHAPE Tim Kinney of Rock Springs. Wyo., one of the biggest sheepmen In that state, was at the Kcnyon, Monday. Mr. Kinney says the condition, of sheep In his section of the state Is good. According Accord-ing to Mr. Kinney there aro about 300.000 sheep wintering on the Green River and Hitter Creek ranges, but up to the present pres-ent the losses have been slight. Mr. Kinney said that this winter has been an unusually severe one. but unless un-less conditions grow suddenly worso there will be little or no loss to the sheepmen with herds In the Green River district. Mr. Kinney denied the stores that sheep are being offered for sale at 51 a head In Wyoming. He said that in his twenty years' experience In the sheep business, his loss in the winter had never been over 15 per cent, and that his summer sum-mer losses often exceeded his winter losses |
