During the afternoon Iho biplane was attached to an automobile by means of a 7fi-fool rope and Culver rose to a heigh I of fifteen feet. lie. was making excellent progress and handling his machine ma-chine in good shape when the ropo broke. The aviator descended rather unceremoniously. uncere-moniously. One of the wings of the machine ma-chine was slightly damaged, but Culver escaped Injury himself. Culver has ordered a high power engine en-gine from ihe east, and as soon as it arrives ar-rives he will make another attempt to ily. and those who witnessed the attempt Sunday feel conlldent that he will he successful. .
