CONTRACTOR A. L. HAMLIN TOUCHED BY PICKPOCKET A. Li. Hamlin, a well-known contractor, reported to the police Sunday night that he had been robbed by a pickpocket, whllo entering the Mission theater. IT said that the man had gotten away wilh ?2, and that he had captured the fellow, but bad been-forced to release him bv the Intervention In-tervention of two of his oompinions. one of whom struck Hamlin lu the face. Hamlin, Ham-lin, left a. good description of the pickpocket, pick-pocket, wilh the police, and plain clothes men havo been detailed on the case.
