Show II BINGHAM MINERS ARE SEVERELY 1HJHD Louis and Albert Dibble Fall Distance of Eighty Feet in Mine. Special to The Tribune. BIXGIIAM, April 17. Louis and Albert Dibble, two brothers, who were employed ns miners in tho Utah Apex mino nbovo Bingham, fell a distance of eighty feet in the mino Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock and were seriously seri-ously injured. They were brought from the mine to Bingham and plnced in the Bingham hospital, under tho care of Dr. Straup. The j'otmger brother has a chance of recovering, but little hope is held out for the elder. As near as can be learned, both men were working on a scaffold above a raise in the mine. Without warning, tho scaffolding gave way and the elder attempted to catch the younger brother. Tn this ho was unsuccessful and both men wero precipitated a distance of eighty feet down the raise. lOach sustained sus-tained brokon arms, legs aud Bevcro, cuts on tho head. It is feared that tho older brother is injured internally. If the elder brother lives he will Ijr disligured for lifo. Both are single men and havo a widowed mother living in Salt Lake City. |
