Adamson defeated de-feated Tempest. 6-3; 9-7. Two games wore played In thc second round. C. J. Ncttlclon defealfd L. L. Net. tleton two In three sets, 0-4; 4-6; 7-5. Oscar L. Cox defeated Adamson, G-I; 3-C; S-G. In the firsL round of doubles three Karnes were playetl, which resulted as follows: fol-lows: Bowdle and White defeated Brooke and Martlneau. 11-9; G-l. Blood and Bngby defeated L. L. Ncttlclon Ncttlc-lon and M. J. Brines. 0-0; fi-2. C. J. Ncttlclon and Georgo Taylor defeated de-feated Amos and Tempest, fi-2: 0-1. In tho second round of doubles, C.
