Show HOARD TO SELECT SUCCESSOR TO CLOYD Special to The Tribune. OGDEN, Aug. 20. A special Informal meeting of the board of education was held Tliursdayinorulng, at. which several applications for the prlnclpalshlp of tho Ogden high school, made vacant by tho discharge of Professor D. E. Cloyd, were discussed. No action was tuAcn, however, how-ever, the board deciding to mako a selection se-lection at lta regular meeting Friday evening. Among the applicants for tho position which are blng considered by tho board are C. C. Wllburn. Kearney. Neb.: Dr. Buxton. Salt Lake; J. O. Cross, .Salt Lake, and Henry Peterson of the L. J). S. unl-vorslty unl-vorslty of Salt JLako. All of tho applicants for the position bear good credentials, It is said, and tho board will have no trouble In securing tho services of a competent man. Walter Forbes was choBon by the board as head of the science department for tho high school. |
