George Footc was arrested ar-rested j'esterday on a charge of assault and battery, alleged to have been committed com-mitted on a Miss Vera Miller Sunday evening. Foote was taken before Justice Jus-tice Noon ' and gave bond in tho sum of ?50 for his appearance for hearing on Monday next. A marriage license has been issued to J. R.
