Tho street railway company, com-pany, through its claims attorney. Emmet Em-met M. Bagley, and assistant attorney, George H. Smith, said that if tho motor-man motor-man Is shown to have been to blame it will pay. the bill for repairing the cart, amounting to $115, but if not, tho city may proceed with its threatened suit to collect. It was also shown by these attorneys that tho bill for damages to a street flushcr, flush-cr, struck by a street car on Main street last summer, has been fully paid by the railway company. It was reported that a balance of $150 on this bill still was due the city. |
