Show SAM NELSON TALKS OF "LAST CHANCE" GROUP Sam Nelson, a prominent mining op-orator op-orator of the Dugway mining district of Tooele county, ha,9 Just returned from his property, with excellent reports of tho condition of the section. Mr. Nelson has a large interest in the Last Chance group of seven claims. The latest piece of development work to give a highly favorable report of itself Is a forty-foot shaft. This now shows a face of ore nearlv eight feet wide. Samples taken across Use face show a trace of gold. JLfiO ounces of silver and from 7 to IT. per cent lead. Copper Is also present in tho ore In small quantity. Another piece of work recently broke Into a cave about fifteen feet high, twenty twen-ty feet long and ten feel wide. The walls of the cave were covered with excellent oro. Beautiful crystals of havy spar were also found intermixed with the more valuable minerals. Mr. Nlson will return to Dugway within with-in the next week. Work on the Last Chance properties has been pushed all winter. |
