The committee appointed at tho big , poaco mass .meeting May Hi. 1007, to formulate plans for tho organization of a Utah Peace society. in counoction with tho American Peace society of Boston, mot in Governor Cutler's ofllco Friday Fri-day afternoon at 3 o'clock. Jt was decided de-cided to hold a mass meeting May 17 tor tho purpose of effecting pcniuiucnt organization and Governor Cutlor will nslc tho trustees of tho First Congregational Congrega-tional church for the use of the church auditorium on that day. Governor Cutler will issue a pvocla-lnalion pvocla-lnalion to ministers throughout tho fcHute .urging them to observe Ponce day, May lis, with appropriate sermons 4i commemoration of tho first Hague tibunal. The schools of tho State will be asked lo present appropriate exercises exer-cises May -l inasmuch as most; of tho institutions in-stitutions will havo closed before May 18. A subcommittee was appointed lo design a constitution and by-laws for the association and tho Rev. P. A. Simpkin, Dean Brewster and Mrs. Cos-grave Cos-grave were designated a committee to arrange tho programme for the Pence mass mooting. Those present at tho meeting wore Governor Cutler, Mrs. F. S.
