Wells, now paying teller of the Commercial Xatioual bank, as assistant cashier, aud George H. Butler, assistant, paying teller of jUeCorniek 's bank, ns receiving receiv-ing tcllor. Both of these men were ap; pointed by the executive committee of the Utah National bank at a meeting hold Into Wednesday afternoon, but their names were not given out until Thursday morning, on account of their having to make arrangements to leave their present positions. .Mr. Badger, cashier of the Utah National, Na-tional, said Thursday afternoon that it 'was expected that the men would begin be-gin their now duties on April 15. as soon as tho furlough granted to Mr, Strong look effect. Mr. Kelly's furlough fur-lough will begin Slay 1. Mr. Wells will combine tho dutien of assistant cashier and paying toller, and Mr. Butler will be receiving teller, so that the additions are probably all that will bo made to tho staff. J Roth tho new men come to the bank with the highest recommendations. Mr. Wells, especially, has been in the bank- j ing ' business for seventeen years, and had occupied every position, from that of collector to his present position of paving teller. He became connected with tho Stale Bank of Utah in 1901. and little more than n yo;ir ago entcrod the Commercial National bank, where lie in considered one of tho most trusted employees. j 1 |
