This Is desired by the residents in or-dor or-dor to protect their properly from tho encroachment of the L-tah Light and Railway company, which proposes to lay a track east of its present track on Seventh Sev-enth Pouth street along tho east side of the park, and the new intclr will dam.igo tho properly of the residents, thoy say. If the street could be widened and the ifr-ck laid on the -west side of the present pres-ent track, their property would remain as It Is now. - Judge lrilos is said to have, given an opinion, when he was City Attorney, that the park could only be used for park purposes pur-poses If this Is adhered to the street cannot be widened. |
