The wheat market mar-ket was weak all day and closed at almost al-most tho lowest, point. There was general gen-eral selling at the start, owing to a weak market at Liverpool and to the favorable wcathor conditions in this country, which caused an opening decline of : to lRc compared with yesterday's final quotations. quota-tions. During the day thorn wore several slight rallies on coverings by shorts, but prices faiiod to advance above the opening open-ing figures. The statistical situation was again favorable to the hulls, but the bright outlook for tho now crop seemed to overshadow all other considerations. Tho close was weak. The feature of trade in oats was the selling of Spctomber delivery on favorable favora-ble reports of the condition of tho new crop. Mav opened unchanged at D33c, sold off to 53c, and closed at 531c. July opened Jc lower, at 45c, sold between 45gc and 453c and closed at 452c. Provisions wore weak on selling by commission houses and local packers.
