Show NEWSY HAPPENINGS at park cm: Special 10 The Tribune. PARK CITY, Jan. 11. Park lodge Xo. 1129, Knights of Columbus, held their annual Installation of officers Monday night at the Masonic hall. The attendance attend-ance was large, there being two-thirds of tho entire membership of tho order present. Tho lodge Is In a very flourishing flourish-ing condition and tho Installation ceremonies cere-monies were conducted by Past Grand Knight John Fallon. After the newly-installed newly-installed ofllcors had taken their chairs Grand Knight Welsh surprised Mr. Fallon by presenting him with a K. of C. emblem em-blem ring. Mr. Fallon expressed his appreciation ap-preciation of the gift In a fow well chosen remarks, which wore heartily enjoyed en-joyed by tho members present. Refreshments Refresh-ments wcro sorved. , At a meeting of the stockholders of the Miners' Union hospital tho following directors were chosen: Joseph P. Lang-ford, Lang-ford, David Baxter, Bartloy McDonou'gh. John Flanagan, F. C- Gctseh. J. T. Fltz-patrlck. Fltz-patrlck. Dr. C. M. Wilson. Tho last two wore tho new members elected. At the next meeting they will elect the new officers of tho board. Georgo Savage, an employee at the Ontario loading station, was seriously Injured In-jured by an explosion on Monday. Mr. Savago dropped a drill Into a missed holo. which caused the explosion. His face and eyes wore badly Injured by the flying fly-ing rock. Dr. Bardsley, who dressed tho wounds, thinks tho eyesight will not be destroyed. The funeral of Al Ilollendrako was hold from tho Miners' union hall this afternoon after-noon at 1 o'clock, under tho auspices of the Pratcrnnl Brotherhood.. Interment was in Glenwood cemetery. Tho many friends of Thomas Stringer will be glad to hoar that ho is recovering recov-ering from a serious illness. |
