Show Beta Simga Phi Visits TV Station An exceptionally interesting cult urn evening was enjoyed by members and giusls of (he Bountiful Alpha Nu chapter of Beta Sigma Phi, when they visited the studios of KDYL and KTVT this week. The group assen'iled at 8:15 p.m. at the Hotel Utah Coffee shop for dessert and a brief business meeting. Following the meeting, they enjoyed the walk through the balmy sprink-like evening to the television studios on Social Hall Avenue in Salt Lake City They were met bv Tv personality, per-sonality, Bob Welti well-known well-known locally as the 'weather man'. He directed the ladies through the studios with an enlightening commentary on the different aspects of television tele-vision and radio. He also told of the numerous and variable talents required for the success ful operation of both mediums Complimentary expressions of appreciation for a well-plan ned evening were extended to Mrs. Glen Anderson and Mrs. Marvin Cook by Mrs. William Lyons, Mrs. Walter Shiltone, Mrs. Kurt Locher, Mrs. Duane Carlson, Mrs. Glenna Bliss, Mrs. Jack Pickett, Mrs. Fred Atkinson, Mrs. Arthur Case, Mrs. Ralph Hesse, Mrs. Norman Nor-man Waagen and Mrs. Lee Jorgensen. Also very will pleased with the evening's entertainment were two guests, both Beta Sigma Phis who have recently mpved into the Bountiful area from Ogden: Mrs. Burton Chamfoers and Mrs. Wallace McQuarrie. |
