On arriving at the ball the dancers found the hallj beautiful beyond expectatior as the theme was carried out in shades of red with toucl of white to perk things up. Huge hearts caught the eye as well as silhouettes, and the elaborate silver dart suspended suspend-ed from the ceiling was aimed right at a convenient heart. Each fellow was given a tie pin as a favor. Members of the pep club had an anti-climax Sunday though, when they had to head back to the school and take down the decorations in the ballroom and convert it into something suitable for a basketball team. And speaking of basketball, the Braves put up a valient butth' against Ogden Friday night. But there must have been something about the homo crofd that pushed the Ogdenitcs to a close victory. There was plenty of excitement though, and the trip to and from Bountiful via bus and private cars had its enjoyment. Members of the chess club are looking more intelleclua than ever these days as they prepare for more tournament play.
